La Fundación Baylor Argentina es uno de los 9 socios implementadores de la red global de Salud del Texas Children´s Hospital. La red se creó en 1999 para catalizar la atención y el tratamiento pediátrico y familiar del VIH y la capacitación de profesionales de la salud. La Red sigue siendo uno de los mayores proveedores de atención y tratamiento pediátricos del VIH en el mundo. El Alcance de la Red se ha ampliado con Texas Children´s Hospital y Baylor College of Medicine para incluir tuberculosis, desnutrición, hematología y oncología, cardiología, medicina de emergencia, cirugía y anestesiología, y salud maternal.
Con sede en Houston, la red global de Salud del Texas Children´s Hospital incluye socios implementadores en Argentina, Botswana, Colombia, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Romania, Tanzania y Uganda, que opera 11 centros de excelencia (COE) y 9 satélites para servicios integrados de salud materno infantil en los continentes, incluido un centro de tuberculosis en Eswatini y un centro de salud de la mujer en Malawi.
The Fundación Baylor Argentina is one of the 9 implementing partners of the Texas Children’s Hospital Global Health Network. The network was created in 1999 to catalyze pediatric and family HIV care and treatment and health professional training. The Network continues to be one of the largest providers of pediatric HIV care and treatment in the world. The Scope of the Network has expanded with Texas Children´s Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine to include tuberculosis, malnutrition, hematology and oncology, cardiology, emergency medicine, surgery and anesthesiology, and maternal health.
Headquartered in Houston, Texas Children´s Global Health Network includes additional implementing partners in Argentina, Botswana, Colombia, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Romania, Tanzania and Uganda, which operate 11 centers of excellence (COE) and 9 satellites for integrated maternal and child health services across three continents, including a tuberculosis center in Eswatini and women´s health center in Malawi.
